FAQs
What is Vibrational Sound® Therapy (VST)?
VST uses sound frequencies and vibrations to promote relaxation, healing and balance within the body and mind. It involves the use of custom engineered therapeutic singing bowls to create soothing vibrations that affect the body on a cellular level, helping to release tension and stress.
Who can benefit from VST?
Sound therapy is beneficial for nearly everyone. It is especially helpful for those experiencing:
Stress, anxiety or emotional overwhelm
Chronic pain or physical tension
Sleep issues
Mental fog or difficulty concentrating
A desire for personal growth or mindfulness
A way to enhance their meditation practice
If you’re looking for deep relaxation or to restore balance to your body, sound therapy is ideal for you.

How does VST work?
Sound therapy works by using vibrations to stimulate the body’s energy systems, helping to release blockages and promote a natural flow of energy. These sound frequencies can encourage deep relaxation, reduce muscle tension and improve overall well-being. The vibrations impact the body’s cells, tissues and organs, providing a holistic healing experience.
What should I expect during a VST session?
During a session, you will lie down comfortably while the sound therapist uses therapeutic grade bowls to create vibrations around and on your body. VST combines powerful vibration and tones to induce an immediate relaxed state. The induction of the sound waves directly into the body along with soothing ambient tones is such a strong treatment that clients report effects ranging from a meditative state to deep relaxation. By placing the therapeutic singing bowls directly on the body and using correct techniques, a practitioner engages with their client both physically and aurally.
What should I wear to my VST session ?
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows you to relax fully. The session involves lying down for an extended period, so clothing that is not restrictive will help you feel at ease. You may want to avoid wearing tight-fitting clothes, jeans, hoodies, jewelry or accessories that could interfere with the sound vibrations. Most clients find that wearing soft, breathable fabrics works best for their comfort and relaxation.
